Bahaman’s House
Bahaman’s House is a minimalistic and modern design that takes inspiration from traditional Iranian fabrics and rugs and plays with public and private aspects of the house. The predominant colors are natural and red and blue, famous colors in the Iranian culture. These colors create a sense of coziness, softness, and aesthetic beauty. The house is designed for four people and considers the needs of a family member with a special medical condition. In order to ensure a comfortable living experience for the hearing impaired family member, special attention has been paid to the use of space layout, visibility, window size, and circulation.

The kitchen has an open layout that flows to the dining room, an outdoor seating area, and the family living room. It is ideal for the family and to entertain others. It’s arranged in a way that makes the family comfortable while they spend time on their hobbies. The island adopts a bold cobalt blue finish. The counters are topped with a white marble slab to give an elegant touch. The two main walls in the dining area hold a beautiful Iranian wallpaper that brings an important aspect of their culture to their Qatari home. There are some accessories with the same colors as the kitchen cabinet. The beautiful Irainan rug displays a combination of blue and brown.

The living room is designed to be cozy and a place where all family members can gather and enjoy their days. The console is made for the family so they can relax and drink coffee together. The sofa chosen will help them sit comfortably. The lamp is placed near the sofa so that there is easy access to extra light if someone wants to read. The rug in the room helps muffle the sound of footsteps on the hard surface, especially in the living area that is open on the first floor. It also gives the place an Iranian touch. The main wall is designed with beautiful arches and uses Iranian tiles that go with the place and make it more aesthetically appealing. It is an ideal area to display ceramic and antique glassware.

Living Room Elevation
The grandmother’s bedroom is designed to be her happiest place. Grandma loves her culture and country very much. To reflect her love, the famous Iranian blue colors apply to the walls. There is also a beautiful Iraian rug that has the same colors as the room. Two puffs are added in front of her bed for comfortable seating. Picture frames containing a picture of her mother and her sister are added in the room to lift her spirit every time she sees them.
